Christel Brenner has been making dolls since 1994. Fascinated by the variety of a child’s emotions, she concentrates on designing babies and small children. Being a mother of three gives Christel the chance to express her motherly instincts. Being able to show emotions such as happiness, sadness, fear and excitement has become an important teaching tool.
Each of Christel’s dolls has its own individual expression. Quite often her own mood is incorporated during the creation process, which makes her dolls totally unique.
The close connection that Christel makes while making her dolls makes it difficult to let them go. However, when she sees the joy and happiness in the face of the person holding her doll, she knows that all the hard work has paid off.
