Debra Lynn Novak has had a passion for art since childhood. About seven years ago she picked up her first piece of Polymer clay and started sculpting. She was inspired and fascinated with one of a kind artists dolls.
She searched for the perfect medium and studied books on sculpting techniques. She is a self-taught artist using trial and error as her greatest teacher. Debra likes to work with Cernit and believes it has almost all of the characteristics she loves in creating realism and strength.
Throughout the years, her work has evolved. She enjoys making young children, babies and toddlers of all sizes including full body sculpts. Driven by her imagination, her work expresses whimsical character, personality and emotion.
