 Jen Printy
|
Jen Printy is new to the art doll world, but not to art. She discovered her life's work at the early age of nine when Jen realized that she good at art. For years, she has drawn and painted with colored pencil. In 2003, Jen’s tendinitis in her wrist and arm made it difficult to draw and she decided to search for another way to express her art. God opened a new door in May 2004 and Jen discovered the world of art dolls. Polymer clay was the perfect solution. After that first doll, Jen was hooked.
Jen is proud to be a member of The Professional Doll Makers' Art Guild. Jen's dolls are collected by doll enthusiasts all around the world. Her dolls have appeared in magazines, like Dolls and Doll Crafter & Costuming. Jen’s dolls have won several awards. In 2007, Jen's "Precious Baby Girl" won first place in the Baby Category of the Ninth Annual ProSculpt Scholarship Award Contest. She is a graduate of Jack Johnston's Professional Seminar, which is by invitation only. She is looking forward to seeing where this adventure takes her.
