Linda Henry
|
Although Linda Henry has also had work experience in sales, marketing and promotions and in the computer industry, she considers herself to be an artist first and foremost. As fate would have it, she returned to her artistic roots at Lee Middleton’s kitchen table in the late 1970s.
She was invited to spend a weekend as a guest at the Middleton’s home. Lee – knowing Henry was an artist – asked if she would like to sculpt a doll’s head and make the mold for it. Two weeks later, Henry received a box from Lee that contained the completed doll’s head, topped by a handmade wig! Henry’s artistic star rose during the late 1980s and ‘90s. She has designed for several manufacturers, including The Marie Osmond Doll Collection, L.L. Knickerbocker Creations, The Annette Funicello Bear Collection, The Disney Collectibles Catalog and, of course, Middleton Doll.
